Methodology for Proposed Public Data Release on Office Visits and MS-DRGs

Using the Utah’s All Payer Claims Database (APCD), the Office of Health Care Statistics (OHCS) has produced CY2017 comparative data on Utah’s health care  clinics and hospitals for the following measures and calculations.

–  Office Visit (CPT 99201-99215) Total Provider Payments: 25th  percentile, 50th percentile, 75th percentile, and procedure count.

–  MS-DRG Total Provider Payments: 25th percentile, 50th percentile, 75th  percentile, and claim count.
